The most traditional ballet ever, “The Nutcracker”, is back again in Rome from 30 December 2014 to 6 January 2015 at Auditorium Conciliazione (St. Peter’s area). Despite being more than one hundred years old, the fascinating russian piece left room for an impressively original interpretation by Mario Piazza, both director and coreographer of the present staging of Tchaikovsky ‘s masterpiece. The interpreters, belonging to the Balletto di Roma, give life to a fairy tale which will certainly be enchanting for kids and thought-provoking for the adult audience, since it has to do with the delicate passage from childhood to adulthood.
Tickets are on sale from €13 to €45. From Vivi Rome Bed & Breakfast you can go to the auditorium located in Via della Conciliazione 4 by metro line A (stop: Ottaviano San Pietro) or bus (# 40).
